The imagination of the little ones flies with the virtual Barbie set in La Vaguada Shopping Centre!

Technological advances and new technologies are no longer a secret for the youngest members of the household, and in many cases… they are even ahead of us!

Nowadays, tablets, video games, the Internet… have become part of children’s daily lives and the mission of adults is to use them to improve their performance and the development of their cognitive faculties, their imagination, their creativity…

It was precisely for this purpose, to develop children’s imagination and creativity, that we created a very special virtual set at our last event for Barbie “You can be anything you want”. But what is a virtual set?

The set consisted of a chroma key and a system for camera automation and virtual backgrounds in real time, inviting children to immerse themselves in a BarbieWorld” imaginary where they could be whatever they wanted to be: astronauts, doctors, teachers, princes and princesses… There was everything!

The way it worked was very simple: after a brief interview with each child, they told us what they would like to be, they went in front of the camera and… voilà! It was becoming a reality.

In addition, to make this experience closer and more personalised, each child’s name was included in the background and after the event, each participant received their own video with a very special message from Barbie.

With this type of activities integrated into point-of-sale events, the aim is to give a “plus” that encourages more consumers to participate in the action by having fun, coming into contact with new technologies that are not available to them on a day-to-day basis.

All this leads us to generate an engagement between consumers and the brand, making them live an unforgettable brand experience.
