“Con C de Cuidador”, one of the most emotional campaigns we have ever run. We tell you about it in WDi Group.
World Alzheimer’s Day is celebrated on21 September. The aim of the day is to raise awareness of the disease and the information needed to cope with it, in order to raise public awareness of the disease and to get more support.
It is common knowledge what Alzheimer’s sufferers go through, but sometimes, we forget those family members and friends who are there every day fighting with them, the caregivers.
That is why we at the WDI Group wanted to focus this year’s campaign on them, and thanks to the opportunity offered to us by Post-it (from 3M) and CEAFA (Spanish Confederation of Associations of Relatives of People with Alzheimer’s and other dementias) we designed the campaign: With “C” for caregiver.
The WDI Group has made every effort to highlight the role of caregivers and to draw the attention of as many people as possible.
We didn’t want it to be a standard campaign that people would see, get excited about and forget about the next day. This time we wanted the people themselves to participate in the campaign and help us spread the word.
And how can we achieve this? It’s a simple thing living in the world of social media.
Done and done, we have produced leaflets and sent them out to lots of people. In these leaflets you will find Post-it notes and instructions to create your own heart with “C” for caregiver and all you have to do is take a picture of yourself with your heart and share it on your social networks.
Here is the video of the campaign:
So now you know, all you have to do is make your heart with “C” for caregiver and share it on your social networks with the hashtag #conCdeCuidador.
