Microsoft is a multinational technology company, dedicated to the software and hardware industry.
The Bing brand is the Microsoft web browser. Within the brand, we can distinguish between Bing ads (B2B) and Bing (B2C), although the brand always communicates under the name of Bing.
Bing competes with many search engines regarding the investment made by customers from different areas to appear in the search tool.
On this occasion, they requested the WDI Group to hold an event for the main stakeholders in the travel industry throughout Europe, in order to encourage their investment in the summer campaign.
.One of the ways to retain customers and attract new ones is to interact with them by offering them a unique experience.
Therefore, we decided to organize an event where they could enjoy different experiences in the city of Barcelona for a whole day.
The event began welcoming the guests at the W Barcelona Hotel, where they would be accommodated. Each guest had a private room where they could find a personalized box of chocolates to welcome them and thank them for their assistance.
At the beginning of the day, the guests were driven in a customized private car to the “Bing cars” event at the Moritz factory.
Once there, the credentials were issued and two groups were created to facilitate the organization and the subsequent dynamics of the event. Photos were taken at the photocall created for Bing.
Later, the attendees headed to the room on the ground floor for the welcome cocktail. In addition to the cocktail, the guests enjoyed different informative presentations carried out by brand representatives and external people.

Además del cóctel, los invitados pudieron disfrutar de diferentes ponencias informativas llevadas a cabo por figuras representativas de la marca y externos.
The event continued in a smaller room for the presentation of Hololens, Microsoft holographic glasses.
At this stage, the guests were divided into the defined groups to optimize time and space. While the first group was on a tour of the factory, the other could test the product and enjoy a coffee break, then switched groups to enjoy both experiences.
At the end of the day, the guests got a gift from the brand, which consisted of a Memory kit, inspired in the world of travelling. It included an informative brochure of the company, a clip lens for the mobile phone and a digital frame with USB port.
Each digital frame was customized with the pictures taken at the Bing photocall.
To finish the day, the attendees were taken to the Xalet de Montjuïc restaurant for a pleasant dinner.
For the comfort of all the guests, four menus were prepared, so that each person could choose the one that best suited their needs: vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and normal menu. Each menu was designed with the Bing corporate signage and colors.
After the dinner, the guests were driven to the hotel, ending the event.
The next day, the guests returned to their destinations after enjoying a buffet breakfast at the W Barcelona hotel.
Coordinating an event for clients from all over Europe and guarantee an unforgettable experience during a day, managing all the details that were developed throughout the day, as well as accommodation and transportation.
At Grupo WDi we had to arrange all the details so that the guests could enjoy the arrival at the hotel and their transportation to the location where the first part of the event took place.
We took care of the welcome catering as well as the preparation of the subsequent presentations of different representatives from Microsoft and the industry.
We manage the presentation of a customer’s product, the Hololens, and a subsequent visit to the Moritz factory.
Finally, we coordinated the dinner for the guests and their way back to the hotel.
The attendees showed their satisfaction for the pleasant experience throughout the day, which demonstrates the success of the event.
There were no complications and everything run smoothly according to plan. In addition, each guest kept a memory of the event with several gifts of the brand and a digital key ring with a personalized photo.
The brand continues to trust in WDi for future events.
