Pernod Ricard is a multinational company that produces alcoholic beverages. Beefeater, the iconic London gin, is one of its flagship brands.

Brief and creative process

Beefeater wanted to strengthen its position against competitors and boost its retail sales ahead of the Christmas campaign.

To drive these sales and strengthen its presence in retail, they commissioned WDi to create two set-ups for the point of sale.

The first set-up was to consist of a Christmas tree-shaped display able to hold a range of products, from the Beefeater bottle to the various Christmas packs that would go on sale during the festive season.

The second set-up needed to include a tasting area to introduce its ‘hot gin’, a new way of enjoying gin that is perfect for the winter cold. It also needed space for shoppers to wrap their gifts with Christmas trimmings.

Our role

At WDi we once again brought our expertise and know-how to cover every phase of the project. We began with the concept and design of the spaces, paying particular attention to the client’s requests. For example, we made sure the shelving was open on all sides to make restocking easier.

We also took care of the production of the various elements. For this project it was important for them to have a premium look and to be made from durable materials, allowing them to be reused for greater sustainability. Thanks to our EcoVadis certification, this was no challenge for us.

Finally, we carried out the set-up and installation of the materials at the different retailers, making sure they were properly installed and in the right location.

We delivered quality fixtures that were durable and conveyed a brand image of real strength.

Thanks to their quality, Beefeater has been able to keep reusing its Christmas tree display and the rest of the fixtures for future campaigns.


